International Day of Peace 2008
21st September, International Day of Peace has been set down by United Nations in 1981.

We held a party for celebrating this its day at Tsuchi No Yado B&B.
The party started by playing "Sanshin" from Okinawa instrumental and plying kids piano with around 20 of guests.
Kids enjoyed coloring and making flag the dove symble of peace, and treasure hunting!

"*Mochi-tsuki" was the biggest event on that day.
All the people beyond border,races or ages joined and helped making rice cake together.
That was why, it was unforgettable taste, and everybody smlied and laughed.

one of  Japanese traditional event,especially at New Year"s day that way of  making rice cake from sticky rice with big wooden bowl and sticks 

We had two wonderful guest speakers from JAFA and Mt.Barker Woldworf school.
Their story of peace impressed us and made us find the peace we can make.
We ended this celebration with praying for tomorrow.

Every each of us made a crane with paper which written their wishes to make one thousand paper cranes.
When it was completed, we are going to send the place.
